Media Diet (2)
This year, intentional media consumption is IN. This is the second post about what I am consuming. Here's the first.
🎙️ Podcast - Eater's Digest — I no longer professionally work with consumer packaged goods, but I still keep up with this podcast. I love the host, Victor Nevarez, known online as Internet Shaquille. He has a stellar, concise YouTube channel full of quality, efficient food content. The podcast covers the week's pop culture news as it relates to food.
🎸 Music - Olivia Dean — I can't stop listening!! I don't say this lightly, but I feel like she has touches of Amy Winehouse. Her latest album is incredible, but she also has a set of singles that deserve some love too.

🎸 Music Again - Sam Burchfield — A somewhat local artist passed along to me by a beekeeping friend (hi Alex!). I have listened to When We Get Through 39 times in the last 4 days.
🎬 Film - Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie — Go see this movie!! I won't spoil anything, but it was refreshing, hilarious, and a little stupid in the best way. obamna
📺 TV - Community — I will forever stumble whenever anyone asks what my favorite show is, but Community is somewhere in my top 5. Currently engaged in yet another rewatch.
🍳 Book / Cook(ing) - ATK's Dinner Tonight — I have been in a food lull for a few months, not helped by the colossal nightmare that is online recipe websites in 2026. So, I bought my first ever cookbook and I just feel so much more excited to cook and eat. It has big, glossy pictures, loads of little notes on ways to zhuzh up the base recipe, and no ads or pop-ups or stories about how some pasta recipe changed the author's life.
This week, I made honey glazed chicken with a pineapple, corn, and jalapeño salad.
